Committees of ALD
Advertising Committee: A standing committee set up to advertise for all Alpha Lambda Delta service and fundraising projects.
Fundraiser Committee: A standing committee set up to organize all Alpha Lambda Delta fundraising projects.
Publicity Committee: A standing committee set up to publicize Alpha Lambda Delta on campus and in the community
Scrapbook Committee: A standing committee set up to document Alpha Lambda Delta activies in a scrapbook to qualify our chapter for national recognition.
Social Committee: A standing committee set up to organize Alpha Lambda Delta social events.
Temporary Committees: Temporary committees can be created for individual Alpha Lambda Delta projects and will be disolved upon completion of said individual projects.

Article XIII: Committees
Section I: Standing committees may be established by a majority approval of the executive board as the need arises.
Section II: The standing committees of Fundraising, Scrapbooking, Publicity (advertising), and Social should be permanent fixtures in the chapter.
Section III: Standing committee officers can attend executive board meetings to update and inform the executive board of their committee's activities, BUT CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN THE GOVERNING MATTERS OF THE CHAPTER.
Section IV: All standing committee chair should be elected in the first fall meeting of every academic year. Nominations, presentations, and majority vote are all taken during this meeting.
Section V: If any standing committee chair becomes vacant, it is up to the exec board to assign a new chair through either promoting an existing member of the committee to the position, by having an emergency election, or by filling themselves.
Section VI: Temporary committees may be established by a majority approval of the executive board as the need arises, but these committees are dissolved after the completion of their projects.
Section VII: Members of committees can volunteer for their position, or be assigned by executive members according to need.
